Gadgets (7) - Enjoying crystal clear sound with digital TV

Enjoying crystal clear sound with digital TV
Digital Full High Definition(FHD) TV.
In every home out in the world , have they sure got such a TV nowadays.
But what if the TV speakers aren't good enough with some noise for realistic hearing experiences.
Fortunately in that case there is a way one could enjoy crystal clear sound from the TV with just few dollars of spending on some gadgets.

The main point here is an optical output port from TV.
Thus the TV should have the above mentioned port on its behind or somewhere on it.

If not, the TV is irrelevant to this article.

Pre-requisites
  1. Digital to analog audio converter with a fiber optic cable.
US $4.25 as of June 24.
  2. Audio Cable 2RCA To 3.5MM Cable 3.5RPM Rac for TV, PC, amplifiers, DVD speakers, wired Headphones.
US $4.02 as of June 24.
  3. 20W Amplifier US $7.05 as of June 24.
  4. Stereo speakers with impedance of 4 or 8 ohm.
  5. A power adaptor for the amplifier with capacities of above 9V, 2A.

The above first three items could be purchased for less than 6 dollars as a bundle via a store on AliExpress as of June 24.

The specifics on what have been done for it are as follows.

The Specifics
  1. Firstly, as it is a DIY kit, we should assemble all the parts of the amplifier to establish a working entity.
  2. Then connect both the speakers' four lines to the amplifier with plus(+), minus(-) poles in mind.
  3. Connect a fiber optic cable to the TV.
  4. Connect the fiber optic cable to the Analog converter.
Connect the two ends of RCA cable to the Analog converter.
Then connect the converter's power cable.
  5. Connect the RCA cable to the amplifier.
Connect the amplifier to an electrical power source using the above adaptor.
  6. Power on the TV.
    Bring up its preferences screen.
Let its Digital Output preference be set to PCM.
  7. Done!
If the sound does not being heard try re-connecting the RCA cable to the amplifier connected.

If the sound still does not come out, then the adaptor might well need to be upgraded for higher voltage or capacities.

There is a demerit with this mechanism.

It requires two additional electrical power sources.
One for the amplifier and the other for the analog converter.

Also, there is one thing that should be noted with this fiber optic sound output mechanism.

The sound volume of the TV cannot be adjusted with its remote controller or its adjustment panel that is usually placed behind the TV.

These may work visually but does not change the volume actually.

But only the amplifier's volume tuner does it, instead.

Enjoy crystal clear sound with your TV!
