Bought via AliExpress on the Net at quite a low price. Less than three US dollars.
Handy and convenient item by itself if no defects exist.
But...
Met with stain-abundant cover-housing inside outside with blots, faulty operations , haphazard runs..., etc.
The 1st look and feel of it out of the box weren't decent at all.
Some stains and blots were on its lid and on its metal surface inside. It seemed to be working fine for some testing moments and for two or three times of use.
But, that was all there was for it. It had gone awry and never came to its consciousness at all afterwards like a soldier who had killed two or three enemies and drop dead instantly in front of thousands of enemies rushing on to the front line in a battle. A greatly bargained dismay, in short. . So the author had to revive it by himself and he succeeded in managing to do it , not perfect, though. From below are the details.
If there is anyone suffering from the same symptoms, he or she might well get helping tips from it.
Here we go!
The Details
-
1stly, the cause of the trouble should be identified: Faulty soldering, switch disorder, battery-related,...etc.
Every parts inside of the cup should be inspected to do that.
So, remove the reddish bottom silicon cover first and then unwind the two screws off of the bottom of it under the cover.
Pull and separate the bottom cover from the upper portion. -
2ndly, scrutinize the inner structure of the cup now.
Usually the motor doesn't need to be pulled out as here. Was there any cable disconnected? It didn't seem to be so.
No misleading portions could be found by just looking at and simply touching the parts. Thus the author took off all the parts off the housing.
A line was very weakly attached to a point on a charging PCB board and it was disconnected while taking out the board.
Thus the author re-connected and soldered it again onto its original point on the charging PCB board.
-
3rdly, take off its switch as it didn't seem to be working fine with every press on it.
Now disassemble all parts of it for inspection. It could be done simply with a cutter knife.
Black stains or blots are being spotted here and there on the parts of the switch.
Scratch off all of those with a cutter knife or with anything that could wipe off all the stains.
Finally re-assemble all parts of the switch to re-shape its original entity.Alas,
it seemed to be used one looking at its surfaces inside outside on purchase. And it have become obvious it was , now that inspecting inside , even though it had been bought as new product. -
4thly, Anyway, try switching on and off to verify its right operations.
It did work right with every press here now. -
The switch was the main culprit for its malfunctions and the haphazard connection on a point of the charging PCB board was that for the sporadic non-functioning. The battery is also rather suspicious of its drainage, quality and reliability.
But as it is working fine now it's time now to re-assemble all the parts so that it may re-form and function as an original entity.
-
OK, as it is working fine now the author re-charges it to the full.
And it still works fine with several ons and offs afterwards. But a caveat arises from now on.
All seemed to work fine for the moment. Every on and off worked clearly. "So, leave it at that and let's take a look at it tomorrow", he decides. And in the next day he turns on the cup for mixing coffee composites for morning drinking.
Alas, again here, is there no response from the cup. Is the battery also faulty?
Not quite sure but very likely to be so.
Thus the author took out the battery, disconnected its protector PCB and did some clean ups and re-connected, re-wrapped it.
Used a glue gun to cover up the wire connection points with glues.Did not inspect any further into the battery.
But it works if a charging cable is connected.
Users may well try replacing the battery with a new one of its equivalent and try again.
So it could be safely presumed that the battery might have been drained out completely.
Users could use it with a wired power source (charging cable) at most, anyhow.
A little relief in the middle of a disaster!
It could be used in this crippled manner, however. What a weird product!
Users had better take more care not to encounter these kinds of haphazard products.
If did, let's be quick enough to refund and ask compensation for it.
That's all there is for this article.
Thanks for referring to it.
Conclusion on the stirring cup
It worked right till the night it was bought.
The next day some users got no response from her (the cup) at all.
Stopped working completely afterwards. If the user mends her (the cup), she works again for the day till the night.
Then she's gone the next day. What a mecha-kucha
Cinderella product it is
, in short. Lots of users are complaining about the same symptoms in their reviews on the product.
