Gadgets - (4) Rendering a wired speaker(earphone) a Bluetooth capability

Rendering a wired speaker(earphone) a Bluetooth capability
COWON D2.
Previously it has become a blue-tooth capable audio player.

Now here we will make a non-Bluetooth sound output deivce such as speakers earphones a Bluetooth enabled device though it accompanies some noises with the Bluetooth gadget being used.

The specific details are as follows:

What is required for this is a Bluetooth signal Receiver(RX) gadget.

Here we would use Yet-TR6 again, which has been used previously for TX feature.
It includes both the TX and RX modes with 5.0 version of bluetooth transfer protocol.
So it could be used also for making a wired non-Bluetooth speaker(head phone or ear phone) a Bluetooth capable one.

Though it was not that great for TX feature as it involved some noises with earphones
it has been verified by the author that it worked well with external speakers for rendering the Bluetooth feature.

Now let's give a wired non-Bluetooth ear phone/head phone or speaker True Wireless Stereo Bluetooth capabilities.
Here we go~!

Prerequisites

  1. Any audio player device that has a Bluetooth feature so that it may connect a Bluetooth audio output device to itself wirelessy.
Mobile smart phones are OK, for example.
Here we will use a Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 as a reference.
  1. Yet-TR6 Bluetooth TX/RX gadget
Its RECEIVE port is being used this time.
  1. Wired speaker set

The Specifics
  1. First, connect the speakers to the RECEIVE port of Yet-TR6. as shown below:
  2. Connect the speaker's power cable to a power source, if required for the power to work:
  3. The Bluetooth gadget also requires an electronic power supply as it is a separate device.
Connect the transmitter's USB connection outlet to a power source such as a supplementary battery as shown below or to a inhouse power consent socket with an electronic charger.
Then the blue LED of RECEIVE item blinks signaling that it is now ready for Bluetooth connection and pairing:
  4. Turn on a desired cellular phone and goto Settings >> Connections:

Then turn on the Bluetooth feature.
The connection name for our speakers under the Bluetooth option is just "890".
Now just tick it to establish the connection. If it does not appear in the list, tick Scan item and wait for seconds.
  5. Wait for a few seconds.
After a little while Yet-TR6 emits dingdong sound after successful connection.
  6. Now that the connection is established we can play the music with the cellular phone.
  7. If the reader wants to re-direct the sound to an earphone, then he or she can do it on the spot.
Just disconnect the speakers' cable from the Bluetooth gadget(Yet-TR6) and connect the desired earphone to its RECEIVE port, instead:

Just replacing the speaker with a desired sound-output-capable device does it.
    That's all for this task.

But as afore-mentioned, this gadget involves some noise on transmitting(emitting) or receiving Bluetooth signals. RX mode gets a little less amount of noise than TX mode does, but the noise remains while listening via the Bluetooth gadget, anyhow. That's the fatal defect of this gadget.

    • Flaw : Involves noises both with TX/RX modes.
Unusable with on-ear/in-ear sound output devices.
    • Demerit : It requires an external power source.
    • Merit : 2 in 1 : TX/RX modes both in it.

  8. Then, noiseless and self-powered Bluetooth-enabling gadget?
    Yes, there is!
And at a low price, too
It implements RX mode only but works flawlessly without noises.
So, the next article deals with that Bluetooth-enabling gadget. A quality product from Essager.
  9. Done!
Anyway, enjoy listening to the music via the now Bluetooth-capable speakers!
